Use of AI for Academic Purpose

As a university student, balancing classes, assignments, personal responsibilities, and sometimes just life itself can feel overwhelming. Over the last couple of years, one thing has genuinely changed the way I study: AI tools. Instead of thinking of AI as something complicated or futuristic, I’ve started seeing it as a study partner that helps me understand, organize, and learn better. One of the biggest advantages for me is clarity. Whenever I get stuck on a difficult theory—whether it’s discourse analysis, philosophy, or literature—I use AI to break the topic into simple language. It feels like having an on-demand tutor who never gets annoyed and is always ready to explain the same thing in multiple ways until it finally clicks. I don’t just copy; I learn from the explanations and then write in my own style. Another way AI helps is planning and structuring my academic work. If I have a term paper or a long assignment, I often ask AI to help me create an outline. It saves s...

Bbc learning english and VOA learning english

I’ve spent some time exploring different learning apps and platforms. Two of the most popular ones I tried are BBC Learning English and VOA Learning English. Both are really useful, but I realized they work in very different ways, and my experience with each has been unique. When I first used BBC  Learning English, what struck me was how comprehensive it is. It’s not just about listening — there are lessons on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and even real-life topics. I liked that it challenges me to go beyond just understanding English and actually helps me improve the way I speak and write. The British accent is everywhere, which was a little tricky at first, but I think it’s good for getting used to real, natural English. Sometimes, though, I feel a bit overwhelmed because there’s so much content. I have to plan my learning carefully, or I end up jumping from one lesson to another without really finishing anything. On the other hand, VOA Learning English ...

Compare and Contrast between Speak & Improve and Talkpal

I recently tried out Speak & Improve and TalkPal to see which one could really help me improve my English speaking skills. Both apps have their strengths, but they also work quite differently, so it really depends on what you’re looking for. Speak & Improve is simple, straightforward, and very focused. The moment you open it, you get the sense that this app is all about practicing your spoken English. You record yourself speaking on different topics, and the app gives feedback on things like grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I found this incredibly useful because it felt like having a mini language tutor right in my pocket. The feedback is immediate, and it really makes you think about how you structure your sentences. I also liked that it encourages free speaking rather than just repeating phrases, which makes practice feel more natural. On the downside, the app’s interface is quite plain, and it doesn’t have much of a social or interactive element. If you’re some...

Compare and contrast between the free versions of quizlet and kahoot

After looking through the free versions of Quizlet and Kahoot, I discovered that while both platforms encourage active learning, they have rather different functions. While Kahoot prioritises group interaction through live quizzes and competitive activity, Quizlet concentrates on individual learning with flashcards, matching games, and exam modes.   1. Affordances and features offered by the tools : Students can review at their own pace with Quizlet's flashcards, study mode, and practice exams. With its timed questions, leaderboards, and live quizzes, Kahoot makes learning exciting and quick. However, premium versions are needed for some sophisticated features, such as full reports on Kahoot or unique audio on Quizlet.  2. User friendliness:    Quizlet is more relaxed and user-friendly, particularly for students studying alone. Although Kahoot's vibrant design is straightforward, it has a more dynamic, game-like vibe that could be overpowering. 3. Element...

My first experience with the Freerice App

The first time I opened the Freerice app, I honestly didn’t understand how it works. But as soon as I started playing, I found it quite interesting. I began with the easy level, and at first, it felt too easy, which made the game a bit boring. Then I noticed that there were multiple difficulty levels, so I switched to the hard level and that’s when the real challenge began! The words were much harder, and I made mistakes, but through them, I learned several new words I didn’t know before.  What made the experience even more meaningful was discovering that each point I earned actually contributes grains of rice to help people suffering from hunger. Knowing that I could learn new words while helping others made the game incredibly rewarding. Since then, I’ve decided to play this game daily.

My Everyday Life

Hello everyone!! This is my first blog. In today’s blog I want to tell some random things I usually do everyday in my life. As I am an undergraduate student so my uni life comes first. I am not a morning person but I have to wake up early in the morning for my classes. I usually wake up at 9am and then go to university at about 9:30am skipping my breakfast. After class me and my best friend have some food and enjoy our time. Then I went back to my home. Then I do some random things which I will tell in the next blog.
